Overview:
Joshua joined Maucher Jenkins as a Trainee Patent Attorney in January 2026, based in our London office. He is part of our patents team, specialising in sectors including Engineering & Physics, Battery Technology, Electronics and EV Technology.
Having graduated from Durham University with a BSc in Physics and Chemistry, Joshua has developed a strong interest in innovative technologies and particularly enjoyed modules in Quantum Mechanics, Condensed Matter Physics and Electrochemistry. His final-year dissertation explored the applications of Quasi-Elastic Neutron Scattering (QENS) to the dynamics of polymer chain relaxation and computational simulations of phospholipid bilayers.
Interests outside work:
Outside of work, Joshua enjoys mountaineering and travelling, whilst also having a strong interest in the automotive sector.
