Pramod Patel

 

 

Pramod has extensive experience in dealing with intellectual property matters, both contentious and non-contentious in the UK, EU and other foreign jurisdictions with a particular focus on trade mark and brand protection and portfolio management.

 

Pramod has previously worked within intellectual property teams at various international law firms.

 

He acts on behalf of clients across many sectors, including financial services, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, consumer products and telecommunications.

 

His experience includes handling UK, European Union and international trade mark matters, including trade mark filing/maintenance matters, protection strategy, brand clearance exercises, drafting IP-related agreements such as assignments and licenses, and dealing with objections from national and regional intellectual property offices. 

 

Pramod has been involved in obtaining IP enforcement orders, including registering foreign IP judgements in the UK, as well as filing and serving statutory demands and winding up petitions to obtain IP judgment debts. 

 

He has also assisted clients in domain name disputes before WIPO and Nominet.
