Moritz Gugel joined Maucher Jenkins in December 2022 as a Patent Engineer and will be looking to become a European Patent Attorney.
Previously, he completed his studies in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Offenburg, where he was able to gain knowledge in the field of the aerospace industry. In his last year of study he worked on a project to analyse and optimise the thermal behaviour of a complex hydraulic system, with the goal of minimising the thermal contraction of the pressure fluid by abstracting the physical processes.
His special interests include all areas of mechanical engineering, as well as medical technology, nanotechnology, life sciences, and artificial intelligence.
In his spare time, Moritz is a passionate motorsports fan with driving experience and a racing license, and enjoys playing soccer, tennis, and basketball.
