Jessica Bucher joined Maucher Jenkins in May 2023. She studied law at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität in Freiburg and at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich with a focus on intellectual property law.
Jessica Bucher completed part of her legal training at an international law firm in Munich in the field of IP litigation and in the legal department of a global pharmaceutical company.
Jessica advises clients in the fields of trademark and competition law, as well as design and copyright law. Her particular interest lies in the protection of trade secrets and know-how. Additionally, she addresses questions related to contract law.
As a business mediator, she is skilled at exploring unconventional approaches that create added value for clients.
Her academic background as a fully qualified lawyer and political scientist (B.A. in European Studies from Maastricht University, M.Sc. in European Politics and Law from the University of Glasgow) enables her to approach complex issues with more than just a lawyer's perspective.
