Nick entered the patent profession in 2010, working for another well-known London based firm of patent attorneys. He quickly gained experience in a wide range of technology areas, including laser holography, telecommunication systems/devices, display technology and surveying systems. Whilst at this firm, Nick was responsible for handling LED cases for a multinational company based in South Korea.

In 2012, Nick moved to a niche firm of European patent attorneys that specialised in 3GPP and LTE telecommunication systems, two-way radio systems, automotive electronics and semiconductor technology.

Whilst at this firm, Nick gained a wealth of experience in drafting patent applications and working closely with inventors.

Nick joined Maucher Jenkins in 2015, and qualified as a European patent attorney in 2016.
