Dr Alexandra Puff

Dr. Alexandra Puff is a lawyer specialising in the areas of commercial legal protection, competition law and copyright law. The focus of her activities is on competition and trademark law.

 

In particular, Dr. Alexandra Puff provides advice on competition measures and marketing projects as well as on the protection and defence of business secrets. She represents her clients in competition proceedings and trademark infringement proceedings before the civil courts. Furthermore, Dr. Alexandra Puff supports her clients in their global trademark portfolio management, registering, transferring and licensing trademarks together with undertaking opposition, complaint and deletion procedures before various agencies.

 

The drafting, checking and negotiation of contracts from the entire field of commercial legal protection also form part of her work. Dr. Alexandra Puff regularly provides advice on licence contracts, research and development contracts, cooperation contracts, confidentiality agreements and contracts on the acquisition and disposal of industrial property rights.

 

She chiefly advises her national and international clients in the areas of pharmaceuticals and medical technology as well as in the packaging and food industry and in the automobile sector.

 

Dr. Alexandra Puff studied law at the University of Freiburg, which also awarded her doctorate. After being admitted to the bar in 2010, Dr. Alexandra Puff initially worked for a well-known English law firm in the field of commercial legal protection in Munich. Since 2017 she has been a specialist lawyer for commercial legal protection. Before joining Maucher Jenkins in 2021, she was a partner at an international corporate law firm in Munich.
