Trainee Patent Attorney
University of Manchester – MPhys Physics with Astrophysics (graduated in 2016)
Andrew is a Technical Assistant to the Patents team based in the London office.
Andrew studied Physics with Astrophysics at the University of Manchester. During Andrew's final year at university, his research project focused on the study of Anomalous Microwave Emission (AME) across the Milky Way. Using data from two notable ESA and NASA satellites, he was able to map AME across the sky at different frequencies, deduce its correlation with existing emission mechanisms and thus speculate on its potential origins.
Andrew also acted as the Science & Technology Editor for his university newspaper for two years.
After graduation, Andrew received a British Council scholarship to study in Tianjin, China, where he spent a year learning the language and now speaks Mandarin Chinese to a high level.
Andrew joined Maucher Jenkins in 2017, and is currently working towards qualification as a Patent Attorney.
In his spare time Andrew enjoys skiing, watching football and visiting theme parks.
