Maucher Jenkins attended a seminar in Nanjing aimed at boosting the overseas intellectual property risk management capacity of Nanjing enterprises.
The IPR Risk Prevention and Control Training Session for Export-oriented Enterprises in Nanjing was hosted by the Jiangsu Intellectual Property Office and co-hosted by the Nanjing Intellectual Property Office and WIPA in Guorui Hotel of Nanjing on September 6th.
Nearly 200 people from the Nanjing high-tech enterprises and listed enterprises, or the relevant IP team leaders attended the training session.
Partner Handong Ran gave a lecture on the current European patent application and litigation systems. Alongside him, three attorneys from Kim & Chang Law firm in Korea lectured on the latest Korean trademark and patent practices. These lectures were to help guide enterprises through overseas intellectual property risks and help them to effectively draw upon the patent systems of the Europe, UK and South Korea.
Handong’s lectures received positive feedback and wide recognition from the participants. Through those lectures, Handong helped those participants to understand the intellectual property system of Europe, to follow the latest trend of European and UK patent application and enforcement, to optimize corporate intellectual property layout, to enhance intellectual property risk management and to achieve sustainability.
