On 28 October 2022, Nanshan District Lawyers Work Committee under Shenzhen Lawyers Association hosted a seminar on “European IP protection on e-commerce platforms” at Guandong Liangma Law Firm, in Shenzhen city, China.
Under the direction of Shenzhen Bureau of Justice, organized by Foreign Legal Work Center under Nanshan District Lawyers Work Committee and supported by Maucher Jenkins China, Beijing Shihui Law Firm Shenzhen Branch and Guandong Liangma Law Firm, the seminar aimed to help lawyers in Shenzhen improve their abilities of legal services to Chinese enterprises.

The seminar was held successfully and attracted hundreds of attendees including Chinese practicing lawyers, trainee attorneys, legal assistants, and personnel in the field of intellectual property.
At the seminar, Mr. Handong Ran, Partner and Head of Maucher Jenkins China, gave a lecture on “European IP protection on e-commerce platforms”. Through case analysis, Handong introduced types of intellectual property rights and methods to assess IP infringement and shared how to make or solve complaints of IP infringements on Amazon's EU site.
