Patent Attorney and Partner James Cross participated in the panel discussion ‘Patent aspects of Brexit & hot topics, including the patentability of artificial intelligence’ at the US Intellectual Property Beyond Brexit Roadshow event in Palo Alto last week. He gave insights on the patentability of Fintech at the European Patent Office (EPO).
The Brexit Roadshow was organised by The Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys (CIPA) and The Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys (CITMA) to inform colleagues and clients in the U.S. about how intellectual property law will be affected by Brexit. Other events were held in Washington DC and Boston.
