To strengthen ties with high-tech Chinese enterprises and help them protect their IP rights in overseas markets Maucher Jenkins, along with other 11 well-known international IPR service providers from the US, Europe, Japan and Russia, joined an IP expert tour to Guangdong organized by the Guangdong Intellectual Property Protection Centre.
The event ran for five days from 19-23 April. During this time the delegation visited several local high-tech companies in Guangzhou, Foshan and Shenzhen. These included Comba Telecommunication, CVTE , Xiaopeng Automobile, Midea, OPPO, Aftershockz, and Smoore among others. The trip also included visits to the renowned local IP service agencies in Guangdong, such as Sanhuan and ACIP.

During the inauguration ceremony, Partner Handong Ran signed a framework cooperation agreement with the Guangdong Overseas Intellectual Property Protection Promotion Association on behalf of the firm, making Maucher Jenkins an official strategic partner of the Association in building a comprehensive global intellectual property service network. This move demonstrates Maucher Jenkins’ confidence in and full support of enterprises in Guangdong to realize their "going-out" ambitions.
