European Investment Cooperation Exchange Conference Successfully held in Dongguan, Guangdong

 

The Guangdong Provincial People's Government and the European Union Chamber of Commerce of China welcomed over 500 attendees  to the 2019 China European Investment Cooperation Exchange Conference last week. The event took place 6-7 December 2019 at Kande International Hotel of Dongguan City in Guangzhou Province, P. R. China. Jointly organized by the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province and the People's Government of Dongguan City, this conference further strengthened exchanges and cooperation between Guangdong Province and European countries.

 

Against the current backdrop of building a better Greater Bay Area, the city cluster of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao has a global impact. It supports the Belt and Road Initiative, and is a model zone for in-depth cooperation between Mainland China on one hand and Hong Kong and Macau on another. The province continues to attract enterprises from all over the world with its exceptional creativity.

 

The conference agenda comprised speeches, discussions and corporate experience exchanges. Seminars covered topics such as 5G industry cooperation, Sino-Euro manufacturing cooperation and investment into Germany. In addition, business networking events took place which consisted of trips to local enterprises and industrial parks, such as Gestamp Enterprise, Huawei Town, Songshan Lake Science and Technology Town, among others.

 

This event further deepened Sino-Euro mutual trust, built consensus, and promoted cooperation between Guangdong and Europe in the areas of economy, trade and investment.
