Fond Farewell to Wolfgang Maucher

 

We are sorry to announce the death of our former partner Wolfgang Maucher, who passed away on 31 August 2024 at the age of 84.

 

 

Mr Maucher became a partner in the Freiburg office in 1971, which he managed for over 40 years until his retirement in 2012. He was a passionate patent attorney – he truly loved getting to the bottom of technical inventions and putting them into words. He was valued by both clients and colleagues for his expertise and helpful, humorous manner. Through his tireless efforts, he laid the foundation for our development into a leading firm in the field of intellectual property and a recognized employer in Freiburg.

Wolfgang Maucher will stay with us in our hearts and as a namesake of our firm.
