The Global Trade in Services Summit was held in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province September 18 to 20, 2019. Maucher Jenkins was invited to attend the summit.
A session on the Global Commercialization of Intellectual Property was successfully held during the summit. Attendees invited to the session included relevant leaders of the Nanjing Business Bureau and Nanjing Intellectual Property Bureau; representatives of the International Trademark Association, Chambers of Commerce, transnational corporations, overseas IP service organizations, and well-known scholars and experts from the industry.
A comprehensive discussion was held on the most innovative intellectual property services in the development of global trade in services.
It was emphasized that protecting intellectual property rights is to lay a foundation for the development of trade in services, and that foreign-related services of intellectual property rights are also an important part of trade in services.
