Maucher Jenkins attends the 2021 China Intellectual Property Forum
The 2021 China Intellectual Property Summit Forum (CIPF) was held from 21 to 23 July 2021 at the Zhonggeng Julong Hotel in Shanghai.
Organized by Infotrans and Intellectual Property Link and co-organized by the China Medical Devices Industry Association, this conference aims to promote high-end dialogue between domestic and foreign experts in the field of intellectual property, enhance the innovation level of enterprises and promote the international development of industry services.
Participants included representatives from government departments, industry associations, domestic and foreign enterprises, IP agencies, IP service providers and other entities.
The conference had four sub-forums:
- Pharmaceutical IP
- Medical Device IP
- Communication Technology IP
- Chip IP
Partner and Head of Maucher Jenkins China, Handong Ran was invited to participate in the Medical Device IP sub-forum. During the roundtable discussion, Handong shared his professional opinion on IP risk control in connection with Chinese medical companies going abroad, targeted at the most urgent issues these companies frequently encounter and provided advices on how to improve their IP management.
