Handong Ran joins the firm’s equity partnership

We are delighted to announce that Handong Ran, head of our China office has joined the firm's equity partnership as of 1 January 2023. He has been integral to the success of our business in China.

Handong handles patent applications mainly in the fields of telecommunications, computer hardware, software, and electronics.

Handong joined Maucher Jenkins in 2006 and qualified as a Chartered Patent Attorney and a European Patent Attorney in 2010. Handong is also a qualified Chinese patent attorney and attorney-at-law. He previously worked as an IT analyst at IBM China and a research assistant in Institute of Cell and Molecular Science at Queen Mary & Westfield College, University of London.
