Dr. Gerrit Schultz appointed partner

We are delighted to confirm the promotion of Dr. Gerrit Schultz to partner in 2022.

Gerrit is one of the few IP professionals in Germany admitted as both a German and European Patent Attorney and a German Attorney at Law. He provides intellectual property advice on a wide range of technical areas and covers patents, trade marks, designs, copyright, IT and competition law.

Gerrit joined Maucher Jenkins in 2014. Previously, he worked as a physicist in robotics and medical imaging. In 2012, he was awarded a PhD in physics from the University of Freiburg, Germany. During his research period, Gerrit has (co-)authored almost 50 scientific publications and co-invented several licensed innovations in the field of magnetic resonance imaging
