IP Happy Hour Berlin: IP Meets AI – Intellectual Property in Transition
Hosts: Felix Rummler, Dr. Stefanie Jehle, Dr. Simon Heuer, Dr. Patrick Saloga
With our new office in Berlin-Adlershof, we aim to be even closer to what defines our work: research, innovation, and the people behind it. As a firm specialising in intellectual property, we have been advising technology-driven companies and research institutions for decades – from the initial idea through to the granting of IP rights, and beyond, in their strategic use, enforcement, and defence. Direct exchange with those driving innovation is just as important to us as the precise legal assessment of complex matters.
As part of our IP Happy Hour event series, we would like to share selected perspectives on intellectual property practice – with a focus on current challenges and technological developments.
The first presentation will highlight the fundamental role of intellectual property in innovation-driven environments, addressing strategic questions frequently faced by research institutions and technology-focused businesses.
The second presentation will focus on the role of artificial intelligence: Where can AI usefully support IP practice, and where are clear legal frameworks and human judgment indispensable? Together, we will discuss how to shape a future-oriented approach to IP – between technical possibilities, legal requirements, and the ambition to turn ideas into lasting value.
Interested?
We look forward to welcoming you to our free event at our Berlin office in the Adlershof Technology Park!
