Overview:
Johannes Wirth’s areas of expertise are battery technology, electrical power transmission, electrolysis plants, charging technology for electric vehicles, mobile communications, software applications and video coding.
After graduating from the Technical University of Darmstadt in 2016 with a degree in Industrial Engineering, specialising in electrical engineering and information technology, and from the École Centrale de Lyon in 2016 with a degree in engineering, he worked for several years in product development in the automotive industry as a system test engineer and test manager before moving into the field of patents in 2019. After successfully completing his training as a patent attorney at Hofstetter Schurack & Partner, the District Court of Mannheim and the Higher Regional Court of Munich, he was admitted as a German Patent Attorney in 2022.
He then worked as a patent attorney at df-mp Dörries Frank-Molnia & Pohlman, where he was entrusted with conducting patent application, opposition and appeal proceedings, as well as preparing patent infringement and validity opinions. Johannes Wirth has been working at Maucher Jenkins since 2025 and was admitted as a European Patent Attorney in the same year.
