Overview:

Janik Ludwigshausen has been working as a Research Associate in our Freiburg office since April 2023. Since then, he has been involved in numerous trademark infringement, opposition and invalidity proceedings before courts and authorities, as well as in proceedings relating to patent law, competition law and antitrust law.

He studied law at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg, specialising in commercial and corporate law, and completed his studies in early 2023 by successfully passing the First State Examination in Law. Alongside his work at Maucher Jenkins, Janik Ludwigshausen is currently pursuing a PhD on a topic in the field of the Unified Patent Court.

Interests outside of work:

In his spare time, Janik enjoys road cycling, skiing and reading.
