Overview:

Dr. Jasna Zelko has been with Maucher Jenkins since January 2025, working as a trainee patent attorney with a focus on technical research.

She earned her PhD in physics at the University of Ljubljana in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM). Following her doctorate, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research in Mainz.

During her academic career, Dr. Zelko gained extensive experience in various fields of physics, including experimental work in magnetic resonance imaging, biophysics, and microscopy, as well as simulations and theoretical physics in fluid dynamics.

In addition, she has many years of experience as a patent engineer in the firm df-mp, specializing in searches within patent databases.

Interests outside of work:

In her spare time, Jasna Zelko enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, cycling, mountaineering and skiing.
