Germany
The firm is originally founded by Friedrich Thalmann in Denzlingen, close to Freiburg.
United Kingdom
RGC Jenkins & Co is founded by Richard George Christopher Jenkins, who was also a famous Corinthian footballer. The firm is based in Chancery Lane in London.
Germany
Wolfgang Maucher joins the firm and becomes a name partner. The growing team initially relocates to Stadtstraße in Freiburg and, in the 1970s, moves to Dreikönigstraße, also in Freiburg.

Following an earlier move to Fetter Lane, the fast-expanding firm moved to Caxton Street in London.
Germany
Henrich Börjes-Pestalozza expands the firm’s services as the first qualified lawyer. From this point onwards, the German practice operates under the name Maucher Börjes.

United Kingdom: RGC Jenkins & Co receives the Queen’s Award for Export Achievement.
Germany: RGC Jenkins & Co opens an office in Munich, close to the European Patent Office (EPO).
United Kingdom
The first registered Community Design is filed by RGC Jenkins partner David Musker.

The firm’s continuous growth requires a further move to much bigger offices in Urachstraße in Freiburg.
RGC Jenkins & Co opens an office in Beijing to be more accessible to Chinese clients.
The firm also opens an office in Farnham to serve clients based in the South East of England.

RGC Jenkins & Co and Maucher Börjes join forces in Germany to form Maucher Börjes Jenkins.
Switzerland
Maucher Jenkins opens an office in Basel, Switzerland.

RGC Jenkins & Co and Maucher Börjes Jenkins combine to become MAUCHER JENKINS. The newly merged firm is launched at the AIPPI World Congress in Milan that year.
Satellite offices are opened in Cambridge and Edinburgh.
