Successful IP Happy Hour on the topic of Standard Essential Patents

On October 25 2022 our German offices hosted an IP Happy Hour on the topic of “Standard Essential Patents” which we are pleased was met with enthusiastic participation.

During our live webinar, our Associate Lukas Stolch-Freund addressed the balancing act between prohibition law and broad use, and explained the topic in more detail for our participants from who were from a variety of different fields. Both points of view – those of the patent owners as well as the licensees – were addressed.

We would like to thank our online participants for the interesting questions and suggestions and look forward to future versions of the "IP Happy Hour", where both current and fundamental topics will again be on the agenda.
