Maucher Jenkins Partner Handong Ran lectures in a webinar on Hague International Design System and Partial Design

On September 20, 2022, the Patent Attorneys Association of Hunan Province and Central South University co-hosted a webinar on Hague International Design System and Partial Design, aiming to help Chinese patent agencies, enterprises and individuals to raise their awareness and abilities of international protection of IPR, and to promote Chinese design innovations going global. The webinar was held successfully both online and offline at Science & Technology Park of Central South University.

Mr. Handong Ran, Partner and Head of Maucher Jenkins China, was invited to speak at the webinar. Handong shared design protection practice in both European and UK, and introduced registered community design and unregistered community design as well as essential points of protection of partial designs. The participants were all active in raising questions and engaging in discussions, creating a lively atmosphere for the webinar.

Since entering China in 2012, Maucher Jenkins has been taking an active part in public service and in regular contact with Chinese intellectual property industry associations and law schools at renowned Chinese colleges and universities. We will continue to make our efforts to contribute to overseas intellectual property developments in China.
