UKIPO - Announcement and consultation regarding "superfast" patent service

The UKIPO is pursuing plans to introduce a "superfast" patent service, with the announcement of a consultation.

 

The proposals include the possibility of obtaining grant of a UK patent within as little as 90 days from the filing date, on payment of an additional fee, suggested to be around £3500-4000.

 

The UKIPO has asked for comments on the proposals by 12th June, 2013.
