Launch of Maucher Börjes Jenkins in Germany

Jenkins is pleased to announce the merger of its German practice with Maucher, Börjes & Kollegen of Freiburg im Breisgau, creating the new German firm, Maucher Börjes Jenkins.

By this exciting merger, Jenkins expands its reach into the technology-rich "Three-Country Triangle" at the corner of Germany, France and Switzerland, while Maucher, Börjes & Kollegen, a premier firm in the Baden-Württemberg region, gains a presence in Munich, home of the European Patent Office.

Maucher Börjes Jenkins has offices in Freiburg and Munich. Freiburg is in the heartland of Europe's bio and high-tech cluster stretching to Strasbourg in France and Basel in Switzerland. It is the capital of the Black Forest region and home to leading research institutes as well as one of Germany's top universities.

Felix Rummler, a partner of Jenkins, will join Henrich Börjes-Pestalozza as a partner in the new firm, dividing his time between the Munich and Freiburg offices. Wolfgang Maucher will continue as a consultant to the new firm.
